City of Ilagan LGU supplies transistor radios to INHS radio booths

Isabela National High School inaugurated two radio booths for the Radio-Based Instruction Mode of Learning of both Junior and Senior High School Departments with the help of LGU City of Ilagan, led by Mayor Hon. Josemarie L. Diaz thru Hon. Jay Eveson Diaz on November 3, 2021.


During the proclamation of the radio booths, Diaz provided a total of 5,616 transistor radios to expand the access of blended learning materials of INHS learners. Both JHS and SHS radio booths officially launched on air thru Facebook Live on November 5, 2021 while the transistor radios, along with free load cards, were given to students in need on November 10, 2021.


The official giving of transistor radios was held in the INHS Gymnasium with SDO City of Ilagan officials Schools Division Superintendent Gilbert N. Tong, PhD., OIC-Asst. Superintendent Nelia M. Mabuti, Educational Program Supervisor Virginia A. Bigornia, School Governance Operations Division Chief Juliet V. Gumpal, and Curriculum Implementation Division Chief Samuel P. Lazam. Both Principal Silvino C. Cabangan and Asst. Principal Elvira A. Delos Reyes were present in the proclamation with the teaching and non-teaching INHS staff.
